You might have known our nursery-garden for a long time and you might know exacly what it is that we have in our greenhouses, but for those do not know, you will find here a little description of our nursery-garden.

Fuchsia kwekerij Spek (Fuchsia nursery-garden Spek) has existed for about 20 years.  It all started in a little town called Veessen, where Kees Spek was born. He grew plants since he was 15 years old. He only grew vegetables at first, but that didn't last for long, because he met a friend who was growing plants called fuchsias. The first cutting that Kees ever planted was in 1969, and it turned into a big tree of about 3,5 m in diameter  and about 2,5 m high, which he named it Balkon Koningin. After he grew his first cutting, he got to know Gerrie Hofmeijer and together they started the nursery-garden in Heerde. Which has continued for 20 years and contains many plants and flowers.

We would like to invite you to visit our nursery-garden. We have 5 showgardens, one of them is roofed-in with a little patio where you can enjoy the plants with a nice warm cup of coffee. Our staff will try to be helpfull.

In our nursery-garden our plants are arranged alphabetically, which makes 

it easier to find what you are looking for. Also they are subdived by species, for example the fuchsia's are diveded by:

Our nursery-garden is opened from Monday till Saturday, on Sundays we are closed. For more information about the times we are open see our mainpage.
